Do you need money to go to college? Do you want to continue to participate in the shooting sports you love while going to college? Are you looking for scholarship help in order to be able to attend college?

Some colleges provide scholarships for top shooters to participate on collegiate shooting teams. There are also organizations that provide scholarships to worthy juniors who participate in the shooting sports.

We are trying to compile a contact list of all colleges, programs, and organizations that provide scholarships relating to the shooting sports. If you know of one, and have any contact information, please let us know so we can add it to the list and provide others with the information: articles@juniorshooters.net.

Good shooting, have fun, and be safe.

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for the interest. Finding out all of the colleges that have shotgun shooting programs is always hard. If you go back to our website look for CATEGORIES under the main heading banner. Scroll down & click on Scholarships & Shooting. This will bring up associated articles. I recommend you also go to the NRA website which has a list of colleges which will show if they have a shooting rpogram. You can then contact those that do.

  4. I just subscribed to your RSS feed, not sure if I did it accordingly though? Good article by the way.

  5. Hi there! My name is Sara Brandenburg. I am actually just about to shatter a world reccord. I am trying to become the youngest woman in the world to get my Grand Slam. The woman who holds the reccord now is thirty two. I’m fifteen. So far, I’ve gotten three ut of the four sheep. And I’m going for the final one in August. I was wondering if you offered scholarships? Please let me know. Thank you! -Sara

    Hi Sara,
Fantastic effort on your objective to be the youngest woman in the world to get a Grand Slam. We do not offer scholarships as we are a very small company and publish only Junior Shooters to promote the future of the shooting sports. However, we would be very interested in getting an article and photos from you on your Grand Slam journey that we could publish (we do not pay for articles or photos.) This might help you in getting into school. I would also recommend looking at those schools that have scholarship programs. Check out http://www.nssf.org/CSSI/ at nssf and http://www.nra/collegiate.

What rifles and ammunition do you use. If you get your Grand Slam and write an article and include those companies, than you might want to approach the PR departments of those companies.
    Regards,
    Andy
